Meetings

Classical Christian Home Educators (CCHE) meets each month for our monthly support group meetings. These meetings are designed to encourage and motivate each other in our pursuit of educating our children at home by means of classical education. CCHE_Ladies

At each meeting, we have a topic of discussion. Each member joins in the discussion as we share our thoughts and ideas.

We are open to new people joining us and welcome anyone who would like to come. We are a distinctly Christian group and have a Statement of Faith to which each member must adhere. If you agree with our Statement of Faith, you are very welcome to become a member of CCHE.

Annual CCHE Seminars

Each year CCHE brings to Northern California an Annual Seminar featuring nationally prominent classical education speakers. For more information or to be included on our mailing list, please feel free to contact us.

5th Annual CCHE Seminar featuring Susan Wise Bauer was held September 14-15, 2007 at Warehouse Christian Ministries in Roseville, CA. Susan, as always, was very encouraging and motivating for all of us homeschool parents. It was an honor to have such a distinguished author in our midst.

4th Annual CCHE Seminar featuring Andrew Kern of the CiRCE Institute was held Fri & Sat, April 7-8, 2006 at Warehouse Christian Ministries in Roseville, CA. We had over 200 people in attendance and it was a huge success. My #1 prayer for each Seminar is that every attendee will leave being encouraged, motivated and challenged to be the best homeschool teacher they can be. Andrew Kern certainly did that.

3rd Annual CCHE Seminar featuring Dr. John Mark Reynolds and Hope Reynolds was held Fri & Sat, March 18-19, 2005 at Bayside Church in Roseville, CA. Dr. Reynolds was a great speaker who strongly supports homeschooling and classical education from a Christian perspective. Hope Reynolds was a wonderful sweet complement to Dr. Reynolds. It was a great way to spend a Friday evening and all day Saturday.

2nd Annual CCHE Seminar featuring Marlin & Laurie Detweiler of Veritas Press and Wes Callihan of Schola Classical Tutorials was held Fri & Sat, March 19-20, 2004. It was a great success with over 200 people in attendance.

1st Annual CCHE Seminar in March of 2003 started with a bang with our first featured speaker being Susan Wise Bauer, co-author of the popular book, The Well-Trained Mind. Our 1st Annual Seminar had nearly 300 people in attendance and was a tremendous time of learning and encouragement.
